Peri is built for women’s real movement

Every step is a signal. Not a judgement. So much of women’s activity happens “in-between”, while tidying, carrying, commuting, caring, climbing stairs, moving through workdays. Peri is designed to reflect how women actually move, and not just “workouts” but real movement. This is really important, and it’s not just us saying this. Scientific studies back the idea that movement in different parts of daily life is important and that physical activity at home, work, while travelling, or in leisure time all contributes to health benefits.
You don’t need “all-or-nothing”, you need “some-and-often.”
Getting started
Use the first week to learn how you move. There is no pressure, expectation or target. This is your movement story and it’s just the beginning. Look at your daily step count and how it changes across the week. Confirm your activity blocks that are longer than 15-mins. Your activity patterns will help you understand how you move….and more. For example, on days you move more, do you sleep a little better or feel a bit steadier? After 7 days, your first Weekly Insight will bring this information together for you, and help you decide on the next steps!
Why steps matter
Small movements, done often, are powerful. The benefits of activity start before “perfect” targets and starting to move more each day is linked to meaningful health gains. You don’t need 10,000 steps/day or to go to the gym. Messaging about physical activity can be confusing, sometimes you are told you need less activity and others you are told you need more, but that’s because the messaging is never for you!
With Peri, every step counts, including the everyday “in-between” moments that might otherwise get overlooked. Building toward a target of 7,000 steps/day is associated with meaningful improvements in your health and can lower risk factors once you transition into menopause. And Peri helps you get there by encouraging small changes to help and the insights that allow you to decide the next steps in your journey through perimenopause
Progress over perfection. Patterns over pressure.
